Sure, we might look like a mess, but we learn a lot about God . . . and we have fun doing it.
Summer Youth Mission Trip Registration Info
Picture
We believe students can make a positive impact on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of our District and beyond! Serving one another gives us opportunities to express ourselves and build our leadership skills. The Young People's Ministry in our Central Bay District offers many opportunities to serve within our church community, and our Summer Youth Mission Trip is always the main event of those opportunities.

This year we'll be serving at Lake Louise working locally in the Boyne Falls area partnering with the Boyne Area Service Project agency. We might paint a fence, clean garden beds, fix dry wall, or help to provide for those in need within the areas surrounding Lake Louise Camp. We'll also be building and cleaning up hiking trails surrounding Lake Louise.
  • Cost: $350 (covers lodging, all meals, and day trip event)
  • Central Bay District will give every student $100 towards the cost of the trip who registers before April 15
  • Scholarships are available
  • We'll be staying in the Retreat Center (Triple occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms and showers)
  • All meals (except one dinner in Boyne City) will be provided by Lake Louise and served in camp dinning hall.
  • Day Trip to be determined by group attending
  • Contact Jennifer Lane, trip leader, for more information about scholarships, to ask questions, or to sign-up an Adult Leader.
  • Every church sending students is expected to provide Adult Leaders. The costs for leaders attending will be covered by the Central Bay District. So this means we'll NEED ADULT leaders from Mt. Pleasant First to attend! Contact Jennifer to volunteer!
